Sashiko is an ancient Japanese form of embroidery used to mend, strengthen and beautify fabrics. It uses pattern, symbols, geometry and talisman shapes in a simple easy to learn technique.

Access – Parking is available on street out the front
Learn about the history of this craft and it's original purpose and use. We will teach you about the fabric, thread and needles required for the craft. You will learn basic stitches to create a beautiful pattern using traditional Japanese technique.
We will provide all you need to get started and you will be able to take home the needle and work in progress you start in the class (including extra thread to complete it)
$64.90 per person (incl GST) includes light refreshments & materials to use during workshop, conducted by an expert craft teacher. You will take home a finished item of either a small wall hanging or pin cushion.
